Pre-amplification:
The radio frequency signal enters the pre-wideband amplification from RF IN.
The signal amplification is composed of dual-gate FETs BF998R, C3356 and its peripheral components with extremely high input impedance. The 50K trimming resistor adjusts the C3356 operating point to change the channel sensitivity. After amplification, the signal enters the MCU RA4 for counting, and the Schmitt trigger in RA4 The converter acts as a signal shaping.

 
MCU control:
 
RB1 and RB2 of PIC16F628A are the clock and data control terminals of TM1637 respectively. RA6 and RA7 serve as the online programming interface ICSP, and are also the control terminals for dual-IF switching and the last bit display blanking. RA4 counts external pulses and RA3 controls the gate.
